My Buddy
Me and my buddy Wenxing.
This is the guy whom I slept with for the whole of my national service. I really mean it when I say I slept with him.
Our bed was literally side by side. Sometimes when i woke up at night, his face was just in front of me. Sometimes I wonder did we ever kiss when we were both asleep. hahaa.. The reason behind the arrangement of the bed was because of the fan which was smacked in between our original beds' location. So to better "harness" the wind from the fan, we decided to join our beds.
I still remembered vividly how we would do our before-bed-time crunches and leg raises (btw, i do have 6 packs during NS.. so sad that it is fading away now), how he reacts when i start to make advances on him.. hahaaa..
Buddies are seriously hard to come. I was there for him when he broke up with his first gf... and he was there for me when mine happened too. hahahaa.. sounds cheesy.
Anyway, we had a "enjoyable"time at Stand Chart Marathon 09. Not a good timing but at least we managed to overcome all the cramps, fatigues and complete the race.

My little Date
The long delayed sentosa trip pics.
I always find it hard to reject my little cousin's request to visit every corner of singapore, be it zoo, goat farm, pet farm, kite flying, the walks at the beaches and the latest entry, sentosa. I guess the bond between us started ever since she was a toddler. My mom took care of her when she was just born, until she was around 4.
I still remembered vividly how she imitated me when I was combing my hair, doing push ups and even my little actions. All when she was only about 3.
When she first went to school, she sang almost all the songs she had learnt in school to me. I used to have more than 10 clips of her singings. Too bad, my phone went bonkers and the data got wiped out. I fully understand how a parent feel when their little kid sing to them when they are about 3-4, even though she's not my kid.
Now that she's older and heavier. (I can't hold her up like the way I used to without my hands shaking. And her little sis is the one who is fighting for me to hold her instead), outings are never without conditions. My conditions to her is 3 consecutives Full marks for English and chinese spelling respectively.
Gal: Ah heng gor gor... ENglish I can.. but chinese i cannot...
Me: You never try. how would you know?
Gal: My chinese is really very bad.... Even if I study for 3 times, I also can't get full marks.
Me: hai... okay.. 3 english 2 chinese
Gal: 3 english 1 chinese.
Me: 3 english 2 chinese. Take it or leave it.
Gal: okay la.. (turned her back and walked away from me)
Seriously, it hurts to see her so disappointed. But I shall insist. Sentosa was her first reward after the new set of conditions from me.
Frankly speaking, Sentosa is not for Singaporeans. Overly priced, too many places all over the island without a readable map. Japan's aquarium is much much better than the Underwater world. The last time i went to Underwater world was when I was a kid. Never did I know it still looks the same with only 1 storey. Japan's one has more than 5 storeys! And it's cheaper. I bet the japaneses are laughing at it when they visit it. But at least Gal got to see her dolphins' performances and her smile and excitement just make everything worthwhile.

I still owe her a sling bag for her birthday. And she is calling me everyday to remind me. Weekend shopping with her yet again. I love it.

Yap's big day...
Sometimes i just wonder whether the gals are being abused during work, to the extent they go crazy when their sister gets married. The consequences: THe brothers suffer.
But I am proud to say we are a very Onz bunch of brothers. We do everything they ask us to do... just for the fun of it. Some brothers just walked away and came back when the supposedly auspicious time was up.

William is shy...

Miss Koh looks shy but he seems like he's enjoying it somehow...

"hahahaa.. yap... it's payback time"

I was laughing so hard because Loke was trying to act like he was enjoying it....
I wonder whether this is a show of his waist strength...
Seriously, what are gals thinking?
7th June
And today's my bro's 21st birthday~ Bet this month i won't get to save again... everyone's birthdays seem to be around this period. Weddings too!
HP ho's wedding, Yap's wedding, mother's day (this one die die must celebrate.. if not my mom will be very pissed), Father's birthday, Bro's birthday, Audrey's birthday.... all these in a month... shagged ah... easily cost me more than a thousand. But what to do... some money should be spent.. not that money is equivalent to importance but at least i show that i care.
And I still have Japan part II to blog about. Not that everyone is dying to see it but I should at least complete it. Give me time. I will.... one day....
Today's a good day, not forgetting the fact that I slept at 4am and woke up at 9am. Bet it will be our first and last time catching a midnight movie. 12.30am show and it ended at 3am. No way that we are going Marina square to catch late night show either. Once the opening hours are up, the guards basically shut off all the usual entrances, leaving only those which people seldom use. No clear signage etc.
Had a farewell lunch for huizhen this afternoon at Dom's place. It's quite sad to see someone leaving, especially when the colleague has already become your friend. But at least, she is going to somewhere she likes. Pizzas for lunch and Wii for fun. And i got a heart rate monitor for my birthday present from them. Was really touched by their generosity. No wonder they brought a heart rate monitor to office and purposely discussed about it. And my reaction was "Oh.. this is good... I am going to buy it so that i can train harder for running." They even made me wear it to test my resting heart rate. I bet there''s for them to gauge the size to get for me. hahahaa... THe efforts they took to get me the present. I promise to use it to the fullest.... to help me lose weight...
And I went to test the heart rate monitor right after the Wii session cos I have a set of running attire in the car. And it was good! Very responsive.
me: hey.. my colleagues very nice.. they got me a heart rate monitor! I went to try it during running just now.. it's good... I shall bring it to try it on u to see whether your heart race when u see me"
Drey: haha i also want to try on you.. see whether your heart beats rapidly when you see me... bring it one of these days!
me: hahaha... you sure you want to try ah.. I SHALL BRING IT! see whether you dare to wear it anot.
she doesn't know that you wear the heart rate monitor like a bra. Just below the chest line. Maybe that's why people gave me the weird stare when I adjusted the monitor while running just now. Now I fully understand why gals have to adjust their bra.

To the next phase
Yesterday was one of my army buddies' wedding. And so, we did our "brothers" duties.
Gate crashing. And i did my first ever pole dance. Recorded and scrutinised. I felt violated, abused and naked. I still have another "brothers" duty end of the month. 2 weeks more. Physically and financially drained.
Anyway, I was supposed to be at his house by 6.30am. And when i woke up and took a look at my hp, the time read 6.03am. He lives in Punggol. I tell you, this is the first time I changed into shirt and pants so fast in my life. Faster than army. Bathed, Dressed. All within 5 mins. I still managed to reach his house at 6.28am, notwithstanding the fact that I clocked my fastest speed ever (can't mention the exact value here, you never know some traffic police is reading this post)
The day was long. Gate crashing, photo taking at punggol beach, hotel's lunch (yah.. they chose lunch over dinner... better in a way.. at least it won't stretch until 11pm) and back to Bride's place. I was the driver of the day. Now i know how taxí drivers feel. I got sick of driving in just that one day. The whole marriage event ended at 5pm.
Rushed home to get washed up before going for a dinner and movie outing.
Angels and demons. I catch no ball.

In Nippon Land
I spent 5 mins trying to type the title line... cos this is what happened... おぢぇっれ.. and i don't understand a single thing abt it.. the japanese keyboard is so complicated...
I feel like a japanese now... I walked around like I am one of them.. eat in their local restaurants (only with those with pictures in their menu or displays at the entrance... we basically pulled one of the waitress to the entrance to show her what we want, seriously)... shop at their shopping streets (our conclusion.... jap guys have better dress sense than jap gals)... walk around in their supermarkets (buying fruits, snacks, suppers, ice cream)
I am stronger now... my body fat is decreasing cos jap food is so healthy.... i walked alot everyday.. from 10am to 10pm!! I carried all the shoppings.... ALL OF THEM... I am fitter now..
today is the Utage food festival at Osaka... once every 4 years...
Ciao... breakfast time...
